Bare Rock Wool Blanket is a highly flexible, roll-form insulation material manufactured from natural volcanic basalt rock. Consisting solely of mineral wool fibers, needle-punched or felted into a uniform, resilient blanket without any surface facing (unlike foil-faced or wire-mesh variants).

Optimized for boilers and large tanks, this rock wool blanket features high-density 60-120 kg/m³ without any chemical binders that might outgas at high temperatures. It is also suitable for industrial and building applications requiring easy wrapping, high thermal resistance, and conformability around pipes, ducts, vessels, or irregular surfaces—typically used where additional protective coverings (e.g., jacketing or cladding) will be applied to contain fibers and provide mechanical protection.
