Rock Wool Blanket with Wire Mesh is a durable industrial insulation material designed for high-temperature and mechanically demanding environments. It consists of high-density rock wool fibers securely stitched with high-temperature-resistant wire to a galvanized or stainless steel hexagonal wire mesh reinforcement (typically on one side). Our rock wool blanket with wire mesh is engineered for large-diameter pipes and vibrating equipment. The SS304/Galvanized mesh ensures structural integrity under extreme mechanical stress.
This reinforced construction enhances the blanket's structural integrity and sag resistance, making it widely used for insulating large-diameter pipes, boilers, vessels, storage tanks, and irregular industrial equipment where both excellent thermal performance and mechanical strength are required.

The galvanized or stainless steel hexagonal wire mesh, securely stitched to the rock wool blanket with high-temperature-resistant wire, provides structural reinforcement. This prevents sagging, compression, or displacement over time, ensuring the insulation maintains its full thickness and uniform coverage—particularly on vertical or curved surfaces such as boiler walls, vessels, and large-diameter pipes.
The rock wool core offers inherent heat resistance (typically up to 650–750°C depending on grade), while the wire mesh reinforcement enhances stability at elevated temperatures. It contains the fiber matrix during thermal expansion and contraction cycles, preventing separation, cracking, or loss of insulation integrity in continuous high-heat industrial processes.
In high-vibration environments such as power plants, refineries, or near turbines and engines, the reinforced stitched construction keeps the rock wool fibers densely packed and secure. This maintains long-term thermal and acoustic performance by preventing fiber settlement, breakdown, or voids that could occur with unreinforced blankets.
The integrated wire mesh facilitates straightforward fastening methods, such as hooking onto welded pins or lacing seams with tie wire. This enables quick, gap-free application around complex shapes—including elbows, valves, and irregular equipment—providing a continuous thermal envelope where rigid boards or plain blankets would be challenging to fit.
The inorganic rock wool core is Euroclass A1 non-combustible with a melting point exceeding 1000°C. It does not ignite, propagate flames, or release toxic smoke, serving as an effective passive fire barrier in industrial settings with flammable materials, while helping preserve the integrity of protected pipes, tanks, and structures during fire exposure.
